asMotorcraftSpecialtyOrangeEngineCoolant,VC-2(US)or
CXC-209(Canada),meetingFordspecificationWSS-M97B44–D
withthefactory-filledcoolant.MixingMotorcraftSpecialtyOrange
EngineCoolantoranyorange-coloredextendedlifeproductwithyour
factoryfilledcoolantcanresultindegradedcorrosionprotection.

Alargeamountofwaterwithoutenginecoolantmaybeadded,incase
ofemergency,toreachavehicleservicelocation.Inthisinstance,the
coolingsystemmustbedrainedandrefilledwitha50/50mixtureof
enginecoolantanddistilledwaterassoonaspossible.Wateralone
(withoutenginecoolant)cancauseenginedamagefromcorrosion,
overheatingorfreezing.

Donotusealcohol,methanol,brineoranyenginecoolants
mixedwithalcoholormethanolantifreeze(coolant).Alcohol
andotherliquidscancauseenginedamagefromoverheatingor
freezing.
Donotaddextrainhibitorsoradditivestothecoolant.These
canbeharmfulandcompromisethecorrosionprotectionoftheengine
coolant.
Forvehicleswithoverflowcoolantsystemswithanon-pressurizedcap
onthecoolantrecoverysystem,addcoolanttothecoolantrecovery
reservoirwhentheengineiscool.Addthepropermixtureofcoolantand
watertothe“FULLCOLD”level.Forallothervehicles,whichhavea
coolantdegassystemwithapressurizedcap,orifitisnecessaryto
