Changing the wiper blades

Pullthewiperarmawayfromthe
vehicle.Turnthebladeatanangle
fromthewiperarm.Pushthelock
pinmanuallytoreleasetheblade
andpullthewiperbladedown
towardthewindshieldtoremoveit
fromthearm.

Attachthenewwipertothe
wiperarmandpressitintoplace
untilaclickisheard.
Replacewiperbladesatleastonce
peryearforoptimumperformance.
Poorwiperqualitycansometimes
beimprovedbycleaningthewiper
blades,refertoWindowsand
wiperbladesintheCleaningchapter.
Toprolongthelifeofthewiperblades,itishighlyrecommendedto
scrapeofftheiceonthewindshieldbeforeturningonthewipers.The
layeroficehasmanysharpedgesandcandamagethemicroedgeofthe
wiperrubberelement.
TILT STEERING COLUMN
Pulltheleverdowntounlockthe
steeringcolumn.Whiletheleveris
inthedownposition,tiltthe
steeringcolumntoitsdesired
orientation.
