The inside lights will not turn off if:

they have been turned on with the dimmer control, or
any door is open.
The battery saver will shut off the interior lamps 10 minutes after the
ignition has been turned to the 3 (OFF) position.
Perimeterlampsilluminatedentry
On vehicles equipped with the remote entry system, the following items
will illuminate:

Puddle lamps (if equipped)
Head lamps
Park lamps
Tail lamps
The system will automatically turn off:

if the ignition switch is turned to the 4 (ON) position, or
the remote entry transmitter lock control is pressed, or
the vehicle is locked using the keyless entry keypad (if equipped), or
after 25 seconds of illumination.
Deactivating/activatingperimeterlamps
You may enable/disable this feature by having your vehicle serviced by
your authorized dealer.
You may also perform the following power door lock sequence to
enable/disable the perimeter lamps feature (Note: All doors must be
closed and remain closed throughout the process.):

door unlock control 3 times.
Turn the ignition to the 4 (ON)

Press the power door unlock control twice within 5 seconds.
Note: The horn will chirp twice to indicate the perimeter lighting feature
has been deactivated or activated

Your manual was great, however difficult to locate power window fuse location due to Ford's descriptions.
