The  scissor-typ e jack,  and  tire changing   tools  are  stored
beneath   the right   rear seat.  To  rem ove the  jack  from  its
stow age  position,   turn   the  thu mb  screw  counterclock-
wise  to loosen  jack assem bly  and  then  rem ove it.
To rem ove the  spare tire  from  the carrier,  rem ove the tire
cover, if equ ipped,  and  rem ove the  lug nu ts with  the  lug
wrench  turning   them  counterclockw  ise.
