Do not use prior or future model year seat covers not
designated for the specific model being rep aired . Al-
ways use the correct seat cover specified for the
vehicle.
IfADeploymentOccurs
The airbag system is designed to deploy the airbags
when the impact sensors detect a moderate-to-severe
frontal collision, to help restrain the driver and front
passenger, and then immediately deflate.

Do not rep lace the seat cover with an afterm arket seat
cover.
NOTE: A frontal collision that is not severe enou gh to
need airbag protection will not activate the system . This
does not mean som ething is wrong with the airbag
system .
Do not add a second ary seat cover other than those
approved by Daim lerChrysler/ Mop ar.
At no time shou ld any supplemental restraint system
(SRS) component or SRS related component or fas-
tener be modified or rep laced with any part excep t
If you do have a collision which deploys the airbags, any
or all of the follow ing may occur:
