VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER The vehicle identification number (VIN) is located near the left front corner of the windshield. The VIN is visible from outside of the vehicle through the windshield. This number also appears on the Automobile Information Disclosure Label affixed to a window on your vehicle. Save this label for a convenient record of your vehicle identification number and optional equipment. VIN LOCATION NOTE: It is illegal to remove the VIN plate. Ignition Key Removal The shift lever must be in PARK. Turn the key to the LOCK position, then remove the key. 2 Vehicle Key Ignition Key Positions The dealer that sold you your new vehicle has the key code numbers for your vehicle locks.
