THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To activate the system , open the rear door and move the
child lock control, located near the door’s rear latch, to
the ON position.
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY
This system allow s you to lock or unlock the doors, open
the tru nk, or activate the panic alarm from distances up
to abou t 23 feet (7 meters) using a hand held rad io
transm itter. The transm itter need not be pointed at the
vehicle to activate the system .
NOTE:
Inserting the key into the ignition switch dis-
ables all buttons on that transm itter how ever; the buttons
on the rem aining transm itters will continu e to work.
Shifting the vehicle out of PARK disables all transm itter
buttons for all keys.
ChildLockControl
When the child lock system is engaged the door can be
opened only by using the outsid e door hand le even
thou gh the insid e door lock is in the unlocked position.
