ment  to determ  ine if the  problem   could  recu r.
Unintended movement of a vehicle could injure
those in and near the vehicle. As with all vehicles,
youshouldneverexitavehiclewhiletheengineis
running. Before exiting a vehicle you should shift
thetransmissionintoPark,removethekeyfromthe
ignition,andapplytheparkbrake.Oncethekeyis
removed from the ignition the transmission shift
lever is locked in the Park position, securing the
vehicle against unwanted movement. Furthermore,
youshouldneverleavechildrenunattendedinsidea
vehicle.Thefollowingindicatorsshouldbeusedto
ensurethatyouhaveengagedthetransmissionshift
leverintotheParkposition:
If  the  transm  ission  cannot   be   reset,  dealer   service   is
requ ired .

When shifting into Park move the lever all the
wayforwarduntilitstops,andisfullyseated.
Lookattheshiftindicatorwindowontheconsole
toensureitisinthePposition.
