Note:Largemetallicobjects,electronicdevicesthatareusedto
purchasegasolineorsimilaritems,orasecondcodedkeyonthesame
keychainmaycausevehiclestartingissues.Youneedtopreventthese
objectsfromtouchingthecodedIKTwhilestartingtheengine.These
objectswillnotcausedamagetothecodedIKT,butmaycausea
momentaryissueiftheyaretooclosetotheIKTwhenstartingthe
engine.Ifaproblemoccurs,turntheignitionoff,removeallobjectson
thekeychainawayfromthecodedIKTandrestarttheengine.
Anti-theft indicator
Theanti-theftindicatorislocatedintheinstrumentpanelcluster.

Whentheignitionisinthe1
(LOCK)position,theindicator
willflashonceevery2secondsto
indicatetheSecuriLocksystem
isfunctioningasatheftdeterrent.
•
Whentheignitionisinthe3(RUN)position,theindicatorwillglow
for3secondstoindicatenormalsystemfunctionality.
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLocksystem,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisinthe3(RUN)position.If
thisoccurs,thevehiclewillnotstartandshouldbetakentoan
authorizeddealerforservice.
Automatic arming
Thevehicleisarmedimmediatelyafterswitchingtheignitiontothe1
(LOCK)position.
Thetheftindicatorwillflashevery
twosecondstoactasatheft
deterrentwhenthevehicleis
armed.
Automatic disarming
Thevehicleisdisarmedimmediatelyaftertheignitionisturnedtothe3
(RUN)position.
Thetheftindicatorwillilluminateforthreesecondsandthengoout.If
thetheftindicatorstaysonforanextendedperiodoftimeorflashes
rapidly,havethesystemservicedbyyourauthorizeddealer.
