Flash Ligh ts with Rem ote Key Lock
3. Test the featu re while outsid e of the vehicle, by
pressing the LOCK/ UNLOCK buttons on the transm itter
with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
rem oved .
This featu re will cause the turn signal lights to flash when
the doors are locked or unlocked with the transm itter.
This featu re can be turned on or off. To change the
current setting, proceed as follow s:

This featu re activates the head lights for up to 90 second s
when the doors are unlocked with the transm itter. The
time for this featu re is program mable on vehicles
equ ipped with the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center
(EVIC). For details, refer to “Turn Head lights On with
Remote Key Unlock,” und er “Personal Settings (Cus-
tom er Program mable Featu res),” und er “Electronic Ve-
hicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)” in Section 4 of this
manu al.

Press and hold the UNLOCK button on a program med
transm itter for at least 4 second s, but not longer than 10
second s. Then, press and hold the LOCK button while
still hold ing the UNLOCK button.

Release both buttons at the sam e time.
