The system will autom atically control recir-
culation. However, pressing the Recircu la-
tion Control button will tem porarily put the
system in recircu lation mode (ten minu tes).
This can be used when outsid e cond itions such as
smoke, odors, dust, or high hu midity are present.
Activating recircu lation will cause the LED in the
control button to illuminate. After ten minu tes, the
system will retu rn to norm al AUTO mode function
and the LED will turn off.
Some tem p/ hu midity cond itions will cause captured
interior air to cond ense on wind ows and ham per
visibility. For this reason, the system will not allow
Recircu lation to be selected while in defrost or
defrost/ floor mode. Attem pting to use the recircu la-
tion while in these modes will cause the LED in the
control button to blink and then turn off.

Manual Operation
This system offers a full complement of manu al overrid e
featu res, which consist of Blower Preferred Autom atic,
Mod e Preferred Autom atic, or Blower and Mod e Pre-
ferred Autom atic. This means the operator can overrid e
the blow er, the mode, or both. There is a manu al blow er
range for times when the AUTO setting is not desired .
The blow er can be set to any fixed blow er speed by
rotating the Blower Control knob (on the left).
NOTE:
•
The surface of the climate control panel and the top
center of the instru ment panel shou ld be kep t free of
debris due to the location of the climate control
sensors. Mud on the wind shield may also cause poor
operation of this system .

Extend ed use of recircu lation may cause the wind ows
to fog. If the interior of the wind ows begins to fog,
press the Recircu lation button to retu rn to outsid e air.
