Turning Con firm ation Prom pts On/Off
Turning confirm ation prom pts off will stop the system
from confirm ing you r choices (e.g., the UConnect™
system will not rep eat a phone nu mber before you dial
it).

dialing a nu mber with you r paired Bluetooth™ cellular
phone, the audio will be played throu gh you r vehicle’s
audio system . The UConnect™ system will work the
sam e as if you dial the nu mber using voice recognition.

Press the ’Phone’ button to begin.
NOTE: Certain brand s of mobile phones do not send
the dial ring to the UConnect™ system to play it on the
vehicle audio system , so you will not hear it. Und er this
situ ation, after successfu lly dialing a nu mber, the user
may feel that the call did not go throu gh even thou gh the
call is in progress. Once you r call is answ ered , you will
hear the audio.
After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
ЉSetup Confirm ations.Љ The UConnect™ system will
play the current confirm ation prom pt statu s and you
will be given the choice to change it.
Phone and Netw ork Statu s Indicators
If available on the rad io and / or on a prem ium display
such as the instru ment panel cluster, and supported by
you r cell phone, the UConnect™ system will provid e
notification to inform you of you r phone and netw ork
statu s when you are attem pting to make a phone call
using UConnect™. The statu s is given for roam ing net-
work signal strength, phone battery strength, etc.
Mute/Un -mute (Mute off)
When you mute the UConnect™ system , you will still be
able to hear the conversation coming from the other
party, but the other party will not be able to hear you . In
ord er to mute the UConnect™ system :
