LowFuelLight
9. TheftAlarmLight—IfEquipped
When the fuel level drops to 2 gallons, the fuel
symbolwilllightandasinglechimewillsound.
Thislightwillflashrapidlyforseveralsecondswhenthe
alarm system is arming. The light will begin to flash
slowlyindicatingthatthesystemisarmed.

ChargingSystemLight
This light shows the status of the electrical

charging system. The light should come on
WhentheignitionswitchisfirstturnedON,this
light will come on for about six seconds. A
chime will sound if you have not pulled the
shoulderbeltoutoftheretractor.Thisisareminderto
“buckle up”. If you do not buckle up, the light will
remainon.
brieflywhentheignitionisfirstturnedonandremain
on briefly as a bulb check. If the light stays on or
comesonwhiledriving,turnoffsomeofthevehicle’s
electrical devices, such as the Fog Lights or Rear
Defroster.IftheChargingSystemLightremainson,it
meansthatthevehicleisexperiencingaproblemwith
the charging  system. Obtain SERVICE IMMEDI-
ATELY.Seeyourlocalauthorizeddealer.

OilPressureLight
Shows low engine oil pressure. The light will
come on and remain on when the ignition

AirbagLight
Thelightcomesonandremainsonfor6to8
seconds as a bulb check when the ignition
switch is first turned ON. If the light does
not come on during starting, stays on, or
switchisturnedfromtheOFFtotheONposition,and
thelightwillturnoffaftertheengineisstarted.Ifthe
bulb does not come on during starting, have the
systemcheckedbyanauthorizeddealer.
Ifthelightcomesonandremainsonwhiledriving,stop
thevehicleandshutofftheengine.DONOTOPERATE
THEVEHICLEUNTILTHECAUSEISCORRECTED.
