the front blow er button and increase the fan speed to
maxim um.
A/C Recircu lation Program ming
The recircu lation control is program med to cancel the
recircu lation mode when the ignition key is turned OFF
and will reset to the outsid e air mode when the ignition
key is turned “ON ”. The frequ ent use of outsid e air will
help keep odors from building up within the air
cond itioner-heater hou sing. It is recom mend ed that the
recircu lation mode be used as little as possible, especially
in hu mid climates.
Recircu lation Con trol
When the outsid e air contains smoke, odors,
high hu midity, or if rap id cooling is desired
you may wish to recircu late interior air by
pressing the recircu lation button. The recircu -
lation mode shou ld only be used tem porarily. The recir-
culate sym bol will illuminate in the display when this
button is selected . Push the button a second time to allow
outsid e air into the vehicle.
For hot and dry climates, or peop le who are allergic to
pollen and find frequ ent use of the recircu lation mode
necessary, the recircu lation mode can be program med to
not autom atically reset to the outsid e mode by using the
follow ing proced ures:
NOTE: In cold weather, use of the recircu lation mode
may lead to excessive wind ow fogging. The recircu lation
mode is not allow ed in the Mix and Defrost modes to
improve wind ow clearing operation. Recircu lation will
be disabled autom atically if these modes are selected .
• Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Press and hold the recircu lation button.
