THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

NOTE: For emergency exit with the system engaged ,
move the door lock knob to the UNLOCK position, roll
down the wind ow and open the door with the outsid e
door hand le.
To Disen gage the Child Protection Door Lock
1.
Open the rear door.
2. Insert the tip of the vehicle’s ignition key (or any 2
similar item ) into the child lock control and slide it
downw ard .
WARN ING!
3.
Door Lock on the opposite rear door.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to disengage the Child Protection
Avoid trap ping anyon e in the veh icle in a collision .
Rem ember that the rear doors can only be opened
from the outsid e when the child protection lock s are
engaged .
NOTE: After disengaging the child protection door lock
system , alw ays test the door from the insid e to make
certain it is in the desired position.
