NOTE: When havin g the Sen try Key Immobilizer
System serviced , brin g all veh icle keys with you to the
dealer.
3. Insert the second valid key into the ignition switch.
Turn the ignition switch to the “ON ” position within 15
second s. After ten second s, a chim e will sou nd . In
addition, the Vehicle Security Alarm Ind icator Light will 2
begin to flash. Turn the ignition switch to the “LOCK”
position and rem ove the second key.
Sentry Keyா Programming
If you have two valid sentry keys, you can program new
sentry keys to the system by perform ing the follow ing
proced ure:
4. Insert a blank Sentry Key into the ignition switch.
Turn the ignition switch to the “ON ” position within 60
second s. After 10 second s, a single chim e will sou nd . In
addition, the Vehicle Security Alarm Ind icator Light will
stop flashing. To ind icate that program ming is complete,
the ind icator light will turn on again for three second s
and then turn off.

Cut the additional Sentry Key Transp ond er blank(s)
to match the ignition switch lock cylind er key code.

Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn
the ignition switch to the “ON ” position for at least three
second s, but no longer than 15-second s. Then, turn the
ignition switch to the “LOCK” position and rem ove the
first key.
The new Sentry Key has been program med. The Key-
less Entry Transmitter will also be program med durin g
this proced ure. Repeat this proced ure to program up to a
total of 8 keys. If you do not have a program med Sentry
Key, contact you r dealer for details.
