Todisable/enablethereverse
sensingsystemfeaturewiththe
vehicleinP(Park),selectthis
functionfromtheSETUPMENUor
putthevehicleinR(Reverse).

PresstheRESETcontroltoturn
theparkaidONorOFF.
3.
nextSETUPMENUitemorwaitformorethan4secondstoreturnto
theINFOmenu.
PresstheRESETcontrolforthe
Compassdisplay(ifequipped)
Thecompassreadingmaybeaffectedwhenyoudrivenearlarge
buildings,bridges,powerlinesandpowerfulbroadcastantenna.Magnetic
ormetallicobjectsplacedin,onornearthevehiclemayalsoaffect
compassaccuracy.
Usually,whensomethingaffectsthecompassreadings,thecompasswill
correctitselfafterafewdaysofoperatingyourvehicleinnormal
conditions.Ifthecompassstillappearstobeinaccurate,amanual
calibrationmaybenecessary.RefertoCompasszone/calibration
adjustment.
Mostgeographicareas(zones)haveamagneticnorthcompasspointthat
variesslightlyfromthenortherlydirectiononmaps.Thisvariationisfour
degreesbetweenadjacentzonesandwillbecomenoticeableasthe
vehiclecrossesmultiplezones.Acorrectzonesettingwilleliminatethis
error.RefertoCompasszone/calibrationadjustment.
Note:Compasszoneandcalibrationadjustmentscanbeenteredby
usingtheINFOandSETUPMENUcontrolsorusingtheresetbuttonon
topofthecompasssensormountedbehindthemirror.
