Toopen,liftthereleasehandle
andthelid.
2.
Toclose,lowerthelid,liftthe
releasehandleandpressdownon
thelid.
REAR LIFTGATE
Theliftgateareaisonlyintendedforcargo,notpassengers.Youcanopen
andclosetheliftgatefromoutsidethevehicle.Itcannotbeopenedfrom
insidethecargoarea.

Toopentheliftgatewindow,
pressthecontrolontheremote
entrytransmitteror,withthe
liftgateunlocked,pushthe
controlbuttonontherightside
underthelicenseplatelamp
shield.
•
Toopentheliftgate,unlockthe
liftgate(withthepowerdoor
locks,theremoteentryorthe
keylessentrypad)andpullthe
middleleverunderthelicenseplatelampshield.
Tolocktheliftgateandtheliftgatewindow,usethepowerdoorlocks.
Theliftgatedoorandwindowshouldbeclosedbeforedriving.Ifnot,
possibledamagemayoccurtoyourvehicle.
Alwayscloseliftgatewindowbeforeopeningliftgate.Liftgate
glassandliftgateshouldneverbeopenatthesametime.Failure
toobservethiswarningmayresultinpersonalinjuryordamageto
yourvehicle.
