YoursatisfactionisimportanttoFordMotorCompanyandtoyourdealer.
Experiencehasshownthatourcustomershavebeenverysuccessfulin
achievingsatisfactionbyfollowingthethree-stepprocedureoutlinedon
thefrontpageoftheWarrantyGuide.However,ifyourwarrantyconcern
hasnotbeenresolvedusingthethree-stepprocedure,youmaybe
eligibletoparticipateintheBBBAUTOLINEprogram.
TheBBBAUTOLINEprogramconsistsoftwoparts–mediationand
arbitration.Initially,theBBBwilltrytoresolveyourquestionorconcern
throughmediation.Mediationisaprocessthroughwhicha
representativeoftheBBBwillcontactthepartiesandexploreoptions
forsettlementofyourclaim.Ifmediationisnotsuccessful,customers
witheligibleclaimsmayparticipateintheBBBAUTOLINEarbitration
process.Anarbitrationhearingwillbescheduledsothatyoucanpresent
yourcaseinaninformalsettingbeforeanimpartialperson.The
arbitratorwillconsiderthetestimonyprovidedandmakeadecisionafter
thehearing.Youarenotboundbythedecisionbutmaychoosetoaccept
it.IfyouchoosetoaccepttheBBBAUTOLINEdecisionthenFordmust
abidebytheaccepteddecisionaswell.Ifthearbitratorhasdecidedin
yourfavorandyouacceptthedecision,theBBBAUTOLINEprogram
willcontactyoutoensurethatFordhascompliedwiththedecisionina
timelymanner.DisputessubmittedtotheBBBAUTOLINEprogramare
usuallydecidedwithinfortydaysafteryoufileyourclaimwiththeBBB.
ToinitiateaclaimwiththeBBBAUTOLINE,youwillbeaskedforyour
nameandaddress,generalinformationaboutyournewvehicle,
informationaboutyourwarrantyconcernsandanystepsyouhave
alreadytakentotrytoresolvethem.YouwillthenbemailedaCustomer
ClaimFormthatyouwillneedtocomplete,provideproofofvehicle
ownership,signandreturntheCustomerClaimFormtotheBBB.Upon
receipt,theBBBwillreviewtheclaimforeligibilityundertheProgram
SummaryGuidelines.
