Ifthegearscannotbeshifteddownwhen
drivingathigherspeeds,thegearposition
indicatorwillflashtwicetosignalthatthe
gearscannotbeshifteddown.

Iftheautomatictransmissionfluid(ATF)
temperaturebecomestoohigh,thereisthe
possibilitythatthetransmissionwillswitch
toautomaticshiftmode,cancelingmanual
shiftmodeandturningoffthegearposition
indicatorillumination.Thisisanormal
functiontoprotecttheAT.AftertheATF
temperaturehasdecreased,thegear
positionindicatorilluminationturnsback
onanddrivinginmanualshiftmodeis
restored.

Toshiftuptoahighergearwiththe
steeringshiftswitches,tapeitherofthe
UPswitchestowardyouoncewithyour
fingers.
