NOTE

WhenDSCisonandyouattempttofreethe

vehiclewhenitisstuck,ordriveitoutof

freshlyfallensnow,theTCS(partofthe

DSCsystem)willactivate.Depressingthe

acceleratorwillnotincreaseenginepower

andfreeingthevehiclemaybedifficult.

Whenthishappens,turnofftheTCS/DSC.

IftheTCS/DSCisoffwhentheengineis

turnedoff,itautomaticallyactivateswhen

theignitionswitchisturnedon.

LeavingtheTCS/DSConwillprovidethe

beststability.WhentheTCS/DSCisoff,the

TCS/DSCdoesnotactivatebutthebrake

LSD(LimitedSlipDifferentials)function

remains.

IftheDSCOFFswitchispressedandheld

forasecondormore,theTCS/DSCsystem

maybecomeinoperativeduetothesystem

detectingswitchtrouble.IftheTCS/DSC

systembecomesinoperative,theTCS/DSC

andtheDSCOFFindicatorlights

illuminatesimultaneously.Inthiscase,turn

offtheengineandrestartittorestorethe

TCS/DSC.
