Donotreplacethexenonfusionbulbs
yourself:
Replacingthexenonfusionbulbs
yourselfisdangerous.Becausethe
xenonfusionbulbsrequirehigh
voltage,youcouldreceiveanelectric
shockifthebulbsarehandled
incorrectly.ConsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealerwhenthereplacement
isnecessary.
1.
Disconnecttheelectricalconnector
fromthebulbbypressingthetabon
theconnectorwithyourfingerand
pullingtheconnectordownward.
2.
Turnthesocketandbulbassemblyto
removeit.Carefullyremovethebulb
fromitssocketinthereflectorby
gentlypullingitstraightbackwardout
ofthesocket.
Nevertouchtheglassportionofa
halogenbulbwithyourbarehandsand
alwaysweareyeprotectionwhen
handlingorworkingaroundthebulbs:
Whenahalogenbulbbreaks,itis
dangerous.Thesebulbscontain
pressurizedgas.Ifoneisbroken,it
willexplodeandseriousinjuries
couldbecausedbytheflyingglass.
Iftheglassportionistouchedwith
barehands,bodyoilcouldcausethe
bulbtooverheatandexplodewhen
lit.
3. Installthenewsocketandbulb
assemblyinthereverseorderof
removal.
Alwayskeephalogenbulbsoutofthe
reachofchildren:
NOTE
Playingwithahalogenbulbis
dangerous.Seriousinjuriescouldbe
causedbydroppingahalogenbulb
orbreakingitsomeotherway.
Ifthehalogenbulbisaccidentallytouched,
itshouldbecleanedwithrubbingalcohol
beforebeingused.

Usetheprotectivecoverandcartonofthe

replacementbulbtodisposeoftheoldbulb
promptlyoutofthereachofchildren.

Replacingtheheadlightbulbs
Low-beambulb
(Xenonfusionbulb)
Youcannotreplacethelowbeambulbsby
yourself.
Thebulbsmustbereplacedatan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.

Makesuretheheadlightswitchisoff.
Liftthehoodandfindthehighandlow
beambulbsintherearoftheheadlight
body.
TheoutboardbulbistheLOWbeam,
andtheinboardoneistheHIGHbeam.
