When you want to know the differ-
ence of altitude between the desti-
nation and the starting  point:
Displayed altitude could vary even at
same place  because of  air pressure

Relative altimeter  is used  when you
want to know  the altitude of the spe-
cific location. And it displays by com-
paring the altitude of the specific loca-
tion with the current altitude which the
vehicle is located in.
When the "MODE"  switch is pressed
for less  than 2  seconds, the relative
altimeter mode is selected.
