Checking Engine Oil Level
The best time to check the engine oil
level is when the oil is warm, such as
during a fuel stop.

Oil dipstick
Oil filler cap
With the vehicle on level ground, stop
the engine and wait a few minutes for the
oil to drain back to the oil pan.
Wipe the dipstick clean before checking.
