vehicleownership,thesellercertifytothepurchaserthe
correct mileage that the vehicle has been driven. There- 4
fore,iftheodometerreadingischangedduringrepairor
replacement, be sure to keep a record of the reading
beforeandaftertheservicesothatthecorrectmileagecan
bedetermined.

Odometer/TripOdometer
Avacuumfluorescentdisplayindicatesthetotaldistance
thevehiclehasbeendriven.Also,theclusterwilldisplay,
replacing the odometer/trip odometer, vehicle warning
messagessuchas:door/deck/hatch/gateajarandloose
gas cap. Loose gas cap will be displayed from the
Odometer/TripOdometeronallmodels.
8. CruiseIndicator—IfEquipped
This indicator shows that the Speed Control
SystemisON.(Seepage189formoreinforma-
tion.)
NOTE: If vehicle is equipped with the optional Elec-
tronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) in the instru-
ment cluster, all warnings including “door”, “dECK”,
NOTE: The word “SET” will not illuminate when the
SpeedControlSystemison.
