Use the heating/ventilation system  to defrost or defog the
windshield:
To remove frost or exterior fog on the windshield;
o  Set the air flow control to the defrost (
A/C will turn on automatically and the "Fresh" mode will
be activated.)

on the exterior windshield. If this occurs, set the air flow control to the face level position (
