CRUISE indicator
The indicator light illuminates when the
cruise function switch (SET- or RES+) is
ON.
CRUISE
The ESP OFF indicator
will illuminate
when the ignition switch is turned ON,
but should go off after approximately 3
seconds. To switch to ESP OFF mode,
press the ESP OFF button . The ESP
The cruise SET indicator light in the
instrument cluster is illuminated when
the cruise control switch (SET- or RES+)
is pushed. The cruise SET indicator light
does not illuminate when the cruise con-
trol switch (CANCEL) is pushed or the
system is disengaged.
The indicator light illuminates when the
cruise control system is enabled.
The cruise indicator light in the instru-
ment cluster is illuminated when the
cruise control ON-OFF button on the
steering wheel is pushed.
OFF indicator will illuminate indicating
the ESP is deactivated.
If this indicator stays on when ESP OFF
is not selected, the ESP may have a mal-
function. Take your vehicle to an author-
ized HYUNDAI dealer and have the sys-
tem checked.
The indicator light turns off when the
cruise control ON-OFF button is pushed
again. For more information about the
use of cruise control, refer to “Cruise
control system” in section 5.
If you use the parking brake to stop the
vehicle with the ESP system in the
standby position when the brake is not
work normally, the ESP system may be
stop operation and ESP OFF indicator
may be illuminated for about 5 minutes.
CAUTION
Do not use the parking brake to
stop the vehicle, except when the
brake except in an emergency situ-
ation.
