In order to prevent the shoulder belt
from being damaged while folding the
rear seat, the shoulder belt must be
passed through the hanger to keep it
out of the way.

1. Push the headrest down to the low-
est position.

o Seat belts must be removed from
the hanger when in use.
2. To fold down the seatback , push
and hold the seatback folding lever
towardtheheadrest,thenpushdown
the seatback.
CAUTION:
o When using the seat belt, use it
after taking it out of the guides. If
you pull the seat belt when it is
stored in the guides, it may dam-
age the guides and/or belt web-
bing.
