comfort. Permanent intelligent all-wheel drive transfers engine torque
almost instantly to all four wheels to handle changing road conditions. In
addition, class-leading technologies, such as patented Terrain Response,
plus all-terrain anti-lock brakes with four-wheel ventilated discs, enable
you to go further and see more, with outstanding control.
The LR2 is also a paragon of safety engineering. There are seven airbags
(SRS), including a driver’s knee airbag, plus pre-tensioning front safety

belts. What’s more, standard Roll Stability Control (RSC ) can detect and
help prevent an impending rollover.
New for 2009 is an exciting HST Style Package, which includes an
integrated body kit with body-color bumpers and side sills, plus an HST
mesh grille and dual exhaust tips. The HST Style Package is available
exclusively in fi ve lustrous exterior colors.
