BMW Ef� cientDynamics is an umbrella term for a range of technologies used to lower fuel consumption and enhance
driving pleasure at the same time. Everything in the new BMW Series Saloon is designed for maximum ef ciency, a virtue
that comes as standard in every BMW. This includes pioneering engine technology and aerodynamics. Even the surplus
kinetic energy of the car that becomes available when you lift your foot off the accelerator or step on the brake is not
wasted: thanks to Brake Energy Regeneration, it is converted into electricity and fed into the battery. This means less
work to do for the engine, with a corresponding fuel saving. Just one feature of many that contribute to making driving
pleasure more energy-ef cient than ever before.
