There are three basic models in the Vito range, the Van, Crew Cab and Wagon. Within most
models you have the option of different cargo lengths, roof heights, engines and interior
fit-outs. For example the van is available in compact, long high roof and extra long, and the
Wagon is available in long, which will seat up to 8 or 9 passengers.
^
At the heart of the Vito is its second generation CDI Turbo Diesel engine. The 109, 111 and
115 feature a 2.2 litre 4 cylinder CDI engine. Standard transmissions vary depending on the
model you choose. There’s a 6 speed manual for the 109CDI and 111CDI and a 5 speed fully
automatic for the 115CDI.
Rounding out the engine line-up is our range topping V6 120CDI Turbo Diesel. The most
powerful one-tonne diesel van available in Australia. The Vito 120CDI has 150kW of power
and 440Nm of torque, its 3.0 litre V6 hails from the Mercedes-Benz passenger car range,
where it’s found in both the E-Class saloon and the ML-Class SUV. This milestone engine is
mated to a smooth 5 speed fully automatic transmission.
So for work, play, or both there’s bound to be a Mercedes-Benz Vito to suit your needs.
^Nine seats optionally available with a front passenger bench seat.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter range gives you plenty of choice. Sprinter is available with 3
engine outputs, manual or fully automatic transmission, 4 body lengths, 3 roof heights and 4
different weight variants. Along with Cab Chassis and Dual Cab Chassis versions there’s sure
to be a Sprinter combination to suit your needs.
Sprinter is powered by second generation CDI Turbo Diesel engines. Two variants are
available; a 4 cylinder and a V6. The Sprinter can travel, on average, up to 30,000km on one
oil change.* All Sprinters with a 4 cylinder engine come standard with a 6 speed manual
transmission, while the 3.0 litre V6 models come standard with a 5 speed fully automatic
transmission.
The Sprinter incorporates the latest Mercedes-Benz Van technology, safety and driving
performance. It has the ability to negotiate peak hour traffic, congestion and narrow laneways
that are normal in city driving. It also handles cruising on the freeway with ease. The
suspension is tuned for greater handling without compromising ride quality or load carrying
capability. The rear wheel drive layout is key to the Sprinters dynamic driving characteristics,
by eliminating torque steer in the front wheels, ensuring the Sprinter retains its forgiving
handling characteristics even with a full load.
So no matter what your requirements are, there’s sure to be a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to suit
your needs.
*Oil change dependent on driving conditions.
