One man, one engine. Beyond all the racing trophies earned in the storied legacy of AMG —the
high-performance arm of Mercedes -Benz —one small plaque tells an even greater story. Affixed
atop each AMG engine, it bears the signature of the single master technician who assembled
it from race -proven components with his own hands. The superlatively engineered automobile
which houses this engine will go forth to achieve imposing results in virtually every dimension of
performance. But no matter what numbers it generates —horsepower and pound -feet, mph and
rpm, or seconds and g’s—every measure of a CL 63 AMG or CL65 AMG starts with “one.”
AMG-developed engines. With reduced displacement, numerous innovations and twin turbochargers, the all-new

-liter Direct Injection V-8 of the CL63 AMG outputs a thunderous 536 hp @ 5,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft of torque
2,000–4,500 rpm. Along with substantially improved efficiency and emissions, 0–60 mph arrives in just 4.4 seconds.
Not to be outdone, the CL65 AMG reaches 60 mph in a scant 4.2 seconds, courtesy of a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12

generating 621 hp @ 4,800 rpm and the highest torque output of any AMG engine yet: 738 lb-ft @ 2,000–4,000 rpm.
SPEEDSHIFT transmissions. A 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT automatic in the CL63 AMG offers three driving modes:
Controlled Efficiency, Sport and a paddle -shifted Manual mode with lightning -quick 100-millisecond shifts. A wet
startup clutch eliminates the power losses of a traditional torque converter. The reinforced 5-speed SPEEDSHIFT
automatic of the CL65 AMG offers Sport, Comfort and Manual modes that also reprofile the throttle and suspension.
AMG-enhanced chassis. The Active Body Control (ABC) fully active suspension features AMG-specific calibration
and selectable Sport and Comfort modes. In its firmest setting, ABC virtually eliminates body roll in corners. The
adaptive brakes feature massive perforated, ventilated composite discs and dual front calipers. Lightweight yet
highly rigid 20" AMG twin 5-spoke alloy wheels —forged on the CL65—wear staggered -width high-performance tires.

Race -bred refinement. Swathed in Premium leather (or Exclusive diamond -quilted leather in the CL65 AMG),
the Drive -Dynamic front seats provide active support in corners. An AMG instrument cluster includes a RACETIMER
®
for timing track laps, while the central analog clock is modeled after the classic IWC Ingenieur watch. Impeccably
