Instruments and displays combine brilliant detail with instant clarity. Even its
innovative options —most of them standard on the GL 550 —keep pace with your
changing world: Surround-sound audio imperceptibly compensates for ambient
noise. Navigation and live traffic reports help you anticipate and avoid delays. And
since hindsight is rarely 20/20, a rear view camera helps make backing up easier.
Multifunction steering wheel. Conveniently placed buttons put the most frequently used
features right at your fingertips. You can adjust the audio system, use the Bluetooth
and thumb through the various screens of the multifunction display in the instrument
cluster, all without taking your hands off the Premium leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Enhanced Voice Control lets you find addresses by speaking normally, with no need to spell out
city names. It’s standard on the GL550, and part of the Premium 1 Package on the other models.
Rear view camera and PARKTRONIC. Two options help you negotiate tight spaces. The rear

view camera —part of the Premium 1 Package and standard on the GL550—displays a live image
in the dash when you shift to Reverse. The optional PARKTRONIC system helps you detect nearby
obstacles using ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers and displays in the cabin.
