Master of civil engineering.
An advanced degree of refinement. The GLK-Class may be a ruggedly capable performer, but its cabin is a comforting habitat. From its power front seats, you’ll
enjoy both a king-of-the-world view and glued-to-the-road handling confidence. Its powerful climate control has been proven in Saharan swelters and polar frosts. Rich
materials blend new-age style with old-world craftsmanship. Upholstery is carefully fitted by hand. Polished Burl Walnut wood, chrome and aluminum trim highlight
the dashboard and doors. Finely grained leather envelops the steering wheel and gearshift. For an even warmer ambience, a Full Leather Seating Package enhances
the cabin with premium lighting. Sure, you might not be driving to the Serengeti today, but even on a deserted highway, the GLK-Class keeps you cradled in civilization.
Inviting. Welcome in blue skies or a blanket of stars with
the optional Panorama sunroof. A sweeping expanse of
heat-resistant tinted glass affords majestic views to all five
passengers. The front section tilts up for ventilation or
slides open. A sliding shade helps filter out the sun’s rays.
Agreeable. Standard dual-zone automatic climate control
allows the driver and front passenger to peacefully coexist
in individualized comfort. The system filters dust and pollen
from the cabin, while a sensor monitors the position and
intensity of sunlight for more even temperature control.
Versatile. The 60/40-split rear seatbacks fold flat in a
single motion, for up to 54.7 cubic feet of cargo space. A
12V socket and optional household-type115V outlet offer
convenient electrical power. A chrome load-sill plate helps
protect the rear bumper. And a power liftgate is optional.
