Director. Automatic light-sensing headlamps and new LED
taillamps add dramatic style to the redesigned R-Class. With
the optional Lighting Package, brilliant Bi-Xenon headlamps
feature Active Curve Illumination, to direct more light into
dark corners. The package also adds a headlamp washing
system and bright white LED Daytime Running Lamps.
Producer. Both the 268-hp gasoline V-6 of the R350 and
the clean-diesel R350 BlueTEC produce high torque with

ultra-low emissions. With an estimated 24 highway mpg, the
R350 BlueTEC can go up to 500 miles on a tank of fuel, even
B5 Biodiesel. BlueTEC technology converts nitrogen oxide
emissions into pure, earth-friendly nitrogen and oxygen.
Performer. Boldly styled, aggressively sized 19" alloy
wheels and tires deliver commanding performance on
the road and confident showmanship even standing still.
