We will use Life Cycle Assessment
to understand the environmental
impact of our vehicles, including the
use of e_TERRAIN TECHNOLOGIES,
beginning with Range Rover Evoque.
The installation of 1.1MWh of solar
panels on our engineering center
at Whitley is one of the largest
roof installations in the UK to date
and reduces our dependence on
fossil fuels.
We plan to offset approximately
4,500,000 tons of CO2 emissions
by 2012, from 50 projects around
the world.
In 2010 Land Rover launched a three-year
global initiative with the IFRC entitled
‘Reaching Vulnerable People Around the
World’. Land Rover has supported the
IFRC’s life saving work since 2007 and has
provided over £4.5m in vital funding and
vehicle support to help vulnerable people
around the world.
