Ifthereisanypotentialperimeteranti-theftproblemwithyourvehicle,
ensureALLkeyfobs(remoteentrytransmitters)arebroughttothe
dealership,toaidintroubleshooting.
Arming the system
Whenarmed,thissystemwillhelpprotectyourvehiclefrom
unauthorizedentry.Whenunauthorizedentryoccurs,thesystemwill
flashtheheadlamps,parkinglampsandwillsoundthehorn.
Thesystemisreadytoarmwheneverthekeyisremovedfromthe
ignition.Eitherofthefollowingactionswillprearmthealarmsystem:

Presstheremoteentrylock
control.
Lockthedoorsusingthekey.
Ifadoorisopen,thesystemisnotarmed.Thesystemwillbecome
prearmedwhenalldoorsareclosed.Whenthesystembecomes
prearmedtheflasherswillflashtoconfirmtheprearming.
Oncethesystemisprearmed,thesystemwillarmin20seconds.Ifany
doorisopenedduringthese20seconds,thearmingwillbecanceled.
Disarming the system
Youcandisarmthesystembyanyofthefollowingactions:

Unlockthedoorsbyusingyour
remoteentrytransmitter.
Unlockthedoorswithakey.
