The transmitter uses a 3-Volt, lithium-type battery. The
battery will normally last for several years. If it ever
needs replacement, use the following procedure:

Using a screwdriver, loosen the screw on the back of
the transmitter and pry the back off with a thin tool.

Remove the battery from the back.
Insert a new battery, making sure the “Plus(+)” side
faces down, and reassemble the transmitter.

NOTICE
Using an incorrect battery can cause the transmit-
ter to malfunction. Make sure the replacement
battery has the same specification as the battery it
replaces.
