Charging System
Warning Light
Door Ajar Warning Light
and Chime (If Installed)

(If installed)
This light illuminates when the ignition
switch is set to the "ON" position and
goes off after the engine has started. If
it lights up while the engine is running,
there is a problem in the charging
system. Check to see if the V-belt is
broken, and then contact the nearest
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
The door ajar warning light warns you
that a door is not completely closed
and the chime warns you that the key
is in the ignition switch.

Malfanction Indicator
Light (If installed)
The warning chime only sounds
whenever the key is in the ignition
switch and the driver's side front
door is open simultaneously. The
chime sounds until the key is re-
moved from the ignition switch or
thedriver'ssidefrontdoorisclosed.
This light illuminates when there is a
malfunction of an engine electrical re-
lated component, and the system is
not functioning properly. This light will
also illuminate when the ignition key is
turned to the "ON" position, and then it
will go out in a few seconds. If it
illuminates while driving, or does not
illuminatewhentheignitionkeyisturned
to the "ON" position, take your car to
yournearestauthorizedHyundaidealer
and have the system checked.

Seat Belt Warning Light
(If installed)
The seat belt warning light blinks for
about 6 seconds when the ignition key
is turned from the "OFF" position to
"ON" or "START".

Low Fuel Level Warning
Light
This light illuminates when the fuel
level in the fuel tank falls to a low level.
If it illuminates, the fuel should be
added soon.
