Air bag non-inflation  conditions
•  Frontal air  bags  are not  designed      • Front  air  bags  may  not  inflate  in
to inflate in rear collisions, because         side   impact    collision,    because

or loss of vehicle  control.
However,  side or  curtain  air  bags
may inflate depending on the inten-
sity,  vehicle  speed  and  angles of
impact.
