To begin with, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter comes in three
body shapes: the Van, the Cab Chassis and the Dual Cab
Chassis.
A welcome addition to the Sprinter range is the Super
Single, affectionately known as SuSi. SuSi has a Gross
Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4.49t resulting in a payload of up
to 2.2 tonne on some models and all on a standard licence.
SuSi has a single 285/65 (16 inch) rear tyre instead of the
dual rear wheels that are common in this weight category,
allowing common pallets to fit easily between the rear
wheel arches. The first of its type in the Australian market,
SuSi is proving a hit for those who are in the freight and
refrigeration sector.

lengths, three load compartment heights and several
payload variants. The Cab Chassis is available in two
wheelbases, either medium or long. And the Sprinter
Dual Cab Chassis is also available in medium or long
