On- or off-road, the new Touareg is the perfect vehicle for going on a voyage of discovery. smart, capable and stylish, it’s
equipped with a whole host of technological advancements, making driving more fun, safe and luxurious than ever before.
Engine technology, for example, has never been so innovative, as demonstrated by the new Touareg Hybrid, combining the
economy of an electric motor with the power of a six cylinder petrol engine. The start/stop function, standard on all engines
except the 4.2 litre V8 340 Ps, prevents unnecessary engine idling by cleverly switching the engine off when your vehicle is
stationary and in neutral and starts it again as you depress the accelerator. And, as you’d expect from a well thought out car,
the new Touareg is fitted with hill start and hill descent assist as well as an electronic parking brake with auto hold function,
designed to make driving just that little bit easier. f or the latest in comfort, the 2Zone electronic climate control enables the
driver and front passenger to select their preferred temperature setting.
To ensure you reach your destination quickly and safely,
all new Touaregs are fitted with an RNS 850 touch-
screen satellite navigation and DAB digital radio system
complete with 8 inch colour Tf T display, integrated 60 Gb
hard disk and two sD card readers. The voice-activated
system includes a 7 digit postcode search functionalit y and
displays the surrounding area with 3D landmarks. At the
touch of a button, the radio system can be operated from the
multifunction leather trimmed steering wheel.
