R-DESIGN tuned suspension and steering
The Volvo XC90 R-DESIGN has a specially
tuned chassis that separates this vehicle from

Behind them lie large, ventilated disc brakes,

Cratus 20" alloy wheels.
Sports tailpipes
The R-DESIGN steering wheel with its
aluminum inlay doesn’t just look smart.
Behind it, the Servotronic power steering
uses sophisticated, speed-sensitive
technology to regulate the amount of power
assistance a driver needs. At highway
speeds, steering is firmer and more
immediate. When parking or in slow traffic,
steering is light and effortless.
Unique chrome-finish tailpipes ensure that the
XC90 R-DESIGN sticks out from the crowd.

drivers notice first as they follow your lead.
McPherson struts with anti-dive and anti-lift
functionality. The multi-link independent rear
suspension is attached to a steel sub-frame.
The front and rear suspensions both have
firmer shocks and stiffer stabilizer bars for
added stability and quicker steering response.
