Defender is designed to tackle extreme climbs and descents with ease. The engine’s impressive 360Nm
of torque can be fully utilised through the dual-range transfer box and six-speed gearbox. This provides
an additional six forward and one reverse low-range gears for extreme conditions and gradients as steep
as 45 degrees. What’s more, the centre differential can be locked to help minimise wheel spin and
maximise traction on slippery surfaces.
