Locking From the Outside
(Driver's side)

When pushing the lock switch of the
driver's door to the "LOCK", only the
driver's door can be locked.
When locking the door this way, be care-
ful not to lock the door with the ignition
key left in the vehicle.
To prevent theft, always remove the ig-
nition key, close all windows, and lock all
doors when leaving your vehicle unat-
tended.

The door can be locked or unlocked with a
key.
Lock the door by turning the key toward the
frontofthevehicleandunlockitbyturningthe
key toward the rear.
The doors can be locked without a key. To lock
the doors, first push the inside lock switch to the
"LOCK" position so that the red mark on the
switch is not visible, then close the door.
Thedoorwillnotlockifthekeyisleftintheignition
switch when the front doors are closed. This is
normal.
NOTE:
The driver's door can be unlocked by turn-
ing the key once toward the rear. If you wish
to unlock all doors, turn the key toward the
rear within 4 seconds once more.

I bought this used and the battery isn't completely dead but it won't start and my key won't work in the trunk to get to the spare tire, because I also have a flat.
