Replacing the battery

Lockingdoors
When the transmitter's battery begins to get
weak, it may take several pushes on the button
to lock or unlock the doors, and the LED will not
light. Replace the battery as soon as possible.

Close all doors.
Push the "LOCK" button on the transmitter.

system is armed.

Push the "UNLOCK" button on the transmit-
ter.
At the same time the driver's door unlocks,
theturnsignallightswillblinktwicetoindicate
that the system is disarmed.

2. Remove the old battery from the case and
note the polarity. Make sure the polarity of
the new battery is the same(+side facing
down), then insert it in the transmitter.
NOTE:
If you wish to unlock all doors, press the
"UNLOCK" button on the transmitter again
within 4 seconds.

Separate the case with a blade screwdriver
as shown in the illustration.

I bought this used and the battery isn't completely dead but it won't start and my key won't work in the trunk to get to the spare tire, because I also have a flat.
