to illuminate when ignition is turned
to ON, continues to flash or remains
on, have the system serviced
immediately by your authorized dealer. A chime will also sound when a
malfunction in the supplemental restraint system has been detected.
Sa fety be lt : Reminds you to fasten
your safety belt. A chime will also
sound to remind you to fasten your
safety belt.
Cha rgin g syst em: Illuminates when
the battery is not charging properly.
Engin e oil pr essu re: Illuminates
when the oil pressure falls below the
normal range, refer to En gin e oil in
the Main ten ance and
Specifica tion s chapter.
Anti-t he ft syst em: Flashes when
the Securilock Passive Anti-theft
System has been activated.
Ove rdr ive off (if equ ippe d) :
O/ D
Illuminates when the overdrive
OFF
function of the transaxle has been
turned off, refer to the Drivin g
chapter. If the light flashes steadily or does not illuminate, have the
transmission serviced soon, or damage may occur.
Upshift (if equ ippe d) : To
maximize fuel economy, this light
illuminates when the manual
transmission should be shifted to
the next highest gear. Refer to the Drivin g chapter for more
information.
