Tract ion Con trol syst em (if
equ ippe d) : Illuminates when the
Traction Control is turned OFF
and will flash when active. If the
light remains on, have the system
serviced immediately, refer to the
Drivin g chapter for more
information.
Low fuel: Illuminates when the fuel
level in the fuel tank is at or near
empty (refer to Fu el gauge in this
chapter) .
Spe ed con trol (if equ ippe d) :
Illuminates when the speed control
is activated. Turns off when the
speed control system is deactivated,
refer to the Driver Controls
chapter for more information.
Door aja r: Illuminates when the
ignition is in the ON position and
any door is open.
Turn sign al: Illuminates when the
left or right turn signal or the
hazard lights are turned on. If the
indicators stay on or flash faster, check for a burned out bulb.
High be ams: Illuminates when the
high beam headlamps are turned on.
Key-in -ign it ion warning chime : Sounds when the key is left in the
ignition in the OFF/LOCK or ACCESSORYposition and the driver’s door
is opened.
Headla mps on warning chime : Sounds when the headlamps or parking
lamps are on, the ignition is off (the key is not in the ignition) and the
driver’s door is opened.
Gearshift warning chime (automa tic transa xle on ly) : Sounds when
the gearshift lever is not in P (Park) and the driver’s door is opened.
