Switch on the hazard warning flashers,
comply with country-specific regulations.

Switch on the ignition, refer to page 50.
Tow-start in selector-lever position N.
Move the selector lever into the drive posi-
tion and pull toward + within 2 seconds.
The correct gear will be selected and
engaged automatically.

Stop at a suitable location, remove the tow
bar or rope and switch off the hazard warn-
ing flashers.
Have the vehicle checked.
