o Driving on worn-out tires is dan-
gerous!Worn-outtirescancause
loss of braking effectiveness,
steeringcontrolandtraction.When
replacing tires, never mix radial
andbiasplytiresonthesamecar.
Ifyoureplaceradialtireswithbias-
plytires,theymustbeinstalledin
sets of four.
o WheelsthatdonotmeetHyundai's
dimensional specifications may
fit poorly and result in damage to
the vehicle, including broken
wheelstuds.
Do not use a size and type of tire
andwheelthatisdifferentfromthe
one that is originally installed on
yourvehicle.Itcanaffectthesafety
and performance of your vehicle,
which could lead to handling fail-
ureorrolloverandseriousinjury.
When replacing the tires, be sure
to equip all four tires with the tire
and wheel of the same size, type,
tread, brand and load-carrying
capacity. If you nevertheless de-
cide to equip your vehicle with
anytire/wheelcombinationnotrec-
ommended by Hyundai for off-
road driving, you should not use
these tires for highway driving.
When you have new tires installed,
make sure they are balanced. This will
increase vehicle ride comfort and tire
life.Additionally,atireshoudalwaysbe
rebalanced if it is removed from the
wheel.
